Previously, participants have learnt about expectations in UK professional employment and how CVs and cover letters should be presented. Peter’s humorous and very supportive take on the job search process makes this workshop very useful.

Post-event note: Peter’s presentation helped the group to understand some of the things a person new to working in the UK may not be initially familiar with. The session focused on employer’s expectations during the application process, as well as the sort of cultural norms that exist within the workplace – important to appreciate once participants have secured employment.
